The party has been rescheduled to 12/27 and changed so it is now free for everyone. There is no need to buy a ticket but I would appreciate if you RSVP and let me put you on the guest list. Due to the lower budget, the payment for models to come in costume has changed. All the details are below:
CURRENT BODY PAINT ARTIST LIST
I am currently planning a party for photographers, models, make-up artists, hair stylists, costume designers and body paint artists.
This will be a get together to network and meet new people in the business, as well as for business arrangements, impromptu shoots, showing off work and of course for having fun.
Guests are encouraged to bring portfolios, cameras, business cards, resumes, signed work to sell or give away and anything else to further the cause.
Amenities include a pool and hot-tub for shoots, or just enjoying, free food, a stocked bar, an out-door fire pit and plenty of good people. Models in costume and/or body paint will be in attendance (Playboy Mansion party style) and may be available for shooting if they wish. MUA's, hair stylists, costume designers and body paint artists may request to show up early and will be assigned one or more models who may be available to display their work during the party.
Models who choose to come in lingerie or other sexy costumes and who send me a photo of the outfit to post here, will get a small payment of $20 to encourage all the models to come dressed up. The outfit must be approved first. Also most of the outfits you see here on my site are available. Models who would like to be body painted for the event will get $50 for the extra trouble and time involved. The body painting is limited by time and number of painters available. As this is an adult party involving people in the art photography business, nudity or outfits involving partial nudity are allowed and all guests attending are assumed to be comfortable with this and act professional at all times.
A few party rules include:
Photos may be taken, but only with the subjects permission.
The host and/or host's photographer may take general pictures of the party for posting on this site and used when planning a second party. Guest are assumed to have given permission for this unless stated otherwise.
Any person displaying inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave.
Dress code for those not in costume will be the same as most nice clubs; Button up shirt and slacks for men, dresses/skirts/club outfits for women.
This party is for adults (18+). Alcohol will only be served to those 21 and over. The bartender will be checking IDs.
